People often ask who is Madalyn?
Madalyn is my beautiful daughter and who like her father LOVES sweets! Another question that is often asked is why cupcakes? What led to the creation of the cupcake business was not only unemployment but the love of sweets, especially chocolate. Growing up, I always had the aroma of cakes being baked coming from our kitchen due to my mother. She loved to bake cakes and was especially talented in making chocolate mousse. A light went off in my head, and thought I love cupcakes and want to start my own business so why not take the concept of the cake and shrink it to create a cupcake business; thus the creation of Madalyns Cupcakes. At that point, I asked my mother if I could have her blessing on her chocolate mousse recipe and from then on I have established a total of 11 different flavors. My goal was to create a gourmet twist on an old time favorite, so through hard work, perseverance, and many, many recipe tries and taste tests Madalyns Cupcakes was born!
